Francesco Ganassin plays clarinets, electronics and DzigaLoop, a digital tape looper of his own design. He has recorded over thirty albums and performed across Europe, from the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival to the Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci. His soundscape compositions and field recordings have been featured in installation at the Barbican Centre in London and the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. He teaches at the conservatories of Bologna, Castelfranco Veneto and Padova, and works as a learning support teacher in middle school.
