Francesco Ganassin plays clarinets, electronics and DzigaLoop, a digital tape looper of his own design. He has recorded over thirty albums and performed across Europe, from the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival to the Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci. His soundscape compositions and field recordings have been featured in installations at the Barbican Centre in London and the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. He works as a learning support teacher in middle school and he teaches traditional music systems and improvisation at the conservatories of Padova, Castelfranco Veneto and Bologna.
